The Potomac Jazz & Seafood Festival is presented by the non-profit organization:  The Friends of the St. Clement’s Island and Piney Point Museums in St. Mary’s County, Maryland.  Southern Maryland Heritage Area Consortium. Their mission is to raise funds to protect historic sites and education programs.

Friday Jazz Cruise

Cruise down the beautiful Breton Bay in style! We will take you right from the Wharf in downtown Leonardtown. What better way to enjoy these scenic water views than listening to lively jazz. Wine, beer, and snacks will be provided for your enjoyment. This is definitely a night you don’t want to miss!

Saturday All Day Event

The main festival will be taking place on the St. Clement’s Island Museum grounds from 11am-dark. There will be continuous music throughout the day provided by some of the best jazz artists around. You won’t want to miss out on this!

 

Delicious Seafood of Southern Maryland

Of course, no seafood festival would be complete without delicious seafood! Local restaurants will be on hand serving up their best dishes. So come hungry and enjoy some of the best seafood in Maryland!

Main Attractions

The Eric Byrd Trio, Kim Waters, Latrice Carr Music Group and Brian Simpson are some of the most talented jazz singers performing today. The opening act to start of the event will be The Howard University Jazz Quartet. Watch them live amongst fellow jazz lovers and great company in general!
